Thanks a lot, guys. On this particular game I had a very strong start at 183k and fortunately worked out a few vine screens to my advantage using the 'drop the apple from the right' strategy and came out a bit on the plus side before abandoning it. I fortunately gained a good amount of points from my deaths so I was in good shape to finish at least just above 1.4m and was able to finish it off. I have zero doubt in my mind that Mike will retake this record, and I hope that he does soon. I feel pretty bad that he never got to see his name atop the TG leaderboard and I'm not sure how it happened that mine was put up so quickly. There is an event near me in the coming weeks, and I was thinking about going for maybe a higher score on Junior, but there's just no reason for it and I think I'll stick with DK and the other games while there. So I wish good luck to Mike in retaking the score, and I definitely will be waiting quite a while afterwards for any future attempts.
