What are the best intuitive games?
« on: July 04, 2025, 05:52:02 pm »
And by this, I mean the games where you have to think on your feat.  Where you're not doing the same repetitive thing over and over again.
So, I'd say Robotron is one for sure.

What are some for you?

Robotron is probably the best classic arcade game ever made.  It's not my favorite, though I do love it heaps, however, I think it is the best made one.  It's unpatternable, it's fast paced, it's fair, it can be played a variety of ways when you get too good at it (marathon or fixed lives style + high diff), it has a control scheme that was pretty unique at the time, it has a good risk/reward system specifically interesting for fixed life games, etc.

In the summer that you came
There was something eating everyone
And the sunshine fund was low
We couldn't greet you with a simple hello
