Has anyone tried to contact MARP owners and see if they would give or allow TG to take over and maintain MARP?

Retro Uprising  I used to play there until playing games for hours and it would not upload my games.  TG Have been locked out of there for years.  I had asked about console games.. I guess i need to contact Aaron .

I am quite certain if I had access to the machine, I could fix the issue within an hour or two. Unfortunately, it seems whoever maintains the server is unreachable.

You bring up a very interesting point about Marp and who has been paying for it all these years?  Founder of the site has not been around for a long time.

I guess Running a site like Marp would cost a lot of money with all the different pages for all the different rom sets . But then i again i do not know how much it costs to run a website like this one.. I have looked into it a few times but nothing recently.

My advice for what it's worth.
Create another site, but make it at first a zombie site.
Meaning, don't allow uploads, and don't allow any Wolfmame versions.
Call it a temporary site. One that will be taken down as soon as the original site is up and running again.
That way, there's no confusion as some might get upset about having to upload their scores twice.
MARP primary importance in my mind is that it's a historical record of 25 years worth of scores achieved.

I responded on the MARP forum, pointing out that I don't *think* Chris "Zwaxy" Moore has anything to do with the current hosting.

If you (or anyone with the necessary knowhow) could somehow get in live contact with Chris "Seymour" Gushue, it might solve everything.
