I am talking about seriously Retiring and never playing again.    I am pushing 53 years old.. I do not know how much longer i can keep doing this.

Umm... No. I hope to play until the day I die. Doesn't have to be competitive, just needs to be fun.

My genetic Great Uncle Ruggiero Ricci was very active as a violin player. Even into his 80s.
I'm hoping to do the same with Arcade/MAME

I would hope to play into old age. I have had nightmares before, where I became unable to play, because of physical things, i.e. losing fingers. I suppose I’d cross that bridge when / if I get to it.

I would probably retire from a certain game, but never from being a player. It is a depressing thought thinking about being so old that you cannot put up any good scores any longer.
I put in my coin and it didn't do anything!!!!
