Dk jr stuck in boot loop
« on: June 18, 2019, 12:34:34 pm »
Hi everyone I'm new to this forum hope I'm posting in the right place. I have a dkjr cocktail table it has a 2 board set. Its keeps getting stuck in a boot loop with only the 1UP displayed. I put new 5b,5c,5e eproms in it and still stuck in the boot loop. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what I should replace or try cleaning next?

Since no one else has responded, I'll give you a response from my very limited knowledge.  Check the power supply.  Maybe that's doing the harm?

Hi thanks for the reply. The power on the board is all at 5.27v the power on the z80a pulses between 1.93v and 1.80v. Would this possibly be a bad z80 or am I getting poor power to the z80. I've also read about a watchdog timer is this somthing it would b doing if the watchdog time circuit is faulty?
