We should have an online DKJr. or DK3 tournament

I decided to put this out there, but I do believe we are FAR over due to have a Donkey Kong Junior or Donkey Kong 3 tournament with cash prizes.  This year I actually was going to due this exact thing but like almost every year for me some crazy life event gets in the way.  Having said that, we are far over due for a tournament in one of these classic games.  I mean it should be nice just to switch it up just once in awhile.

Think about this.
We have had over a dozen Online Donkey Kong events.  Six Kong Offs.  A few Arkasas Donkey Kong Opens, and an upcoming 2nd Donkey Kong event.  Yet not a single solitary DKJr. or DK3 online event.

We even have had multiple Mario. Bros online events, and even a Crazy Kong Online event.  Yet still no DKJr. or DK3 online event.  We've had murmurs of wanting an event.  Barra recently talked about how we should have a DK3 event.  But I decided to make this more than a murmur.

WE SHOULD HAVE A DKJR OR DK3 ONLINE EVENT!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about doing Sky Skipper....until SOMEBODY blew the game wide open.

More seriously, I think a combined event, sort of  DK triathlon or quadrathlon might be interesting. I'd be interested in hearing opinions on how such a thing might best be conducted.

If you were to hold a Sky Skipper tournament you'd probably have about 10 people over 100k.  5 people over 150k.   3 people over 200k, and probably a winning score over 250k.  My Sky Skipper score really isn't that great.  I put my 329k Moon Patrol score, and my 288k Zaxxon score as greater accomplishments than what I have done with Sky Skipper.

I have spent a grand total of 30 hours on this game.  It can be beaten if people simply copy my board 8 routine which is all you really need since board 8 repeats over, and over, and over again.

This is the one game where I REALLY WANT people to beat my score.   I am a three time champion in the game, and the only way I can become four time champion is if someone beats my score.

Well compared to high level Donkey Kong Junior play it's a big time thrill ride.

Ideas for a DK3 tournament?

Make it open to all.  Even people called George Riley.
Also make the tournament 5 man.  It would probably be easier to just go with default easy dipswitch 1 settings to avoid cheating.   Marathon is simply too long for certain players.
