Poor Brian Kuh. Still getting flak from the King of Kong documentary.
I know a guy who grew up in my hometown like him. He calls me and tells me he needs a ride from a train station on a Friday night but he doesn't know where he is. Only after describing the surroundings do I figure out where he is. Then, he gives my daughters a bunch of pirated DVDs that end up breaking my BluRay player.
Then he schedules a flight to go back home on Monday, so he ends up spending Sunday night with us unexpectedly. He needs another ride to the train station to get to the airport. I tell him I can drop him off at 8:00 and he says "9:30 would be better". Then I say "I have a job and can't get to work that late!!"
Ironically, he played classic games like I did... had to play Donkey Kong on his knees since he is about 6'4". He also has had the same haircut since 1982 as well. We are not actually friends... he just joined us on a weekend another friend visited us who is more respectful of our time and appreciative of our hospitality.
At any rate, he was a my Brian Kuh childhood acquaintance to a T. By the way, were Brian's parents doctors by chance???
