I wasn't able to find those comments in any posts so I may have missed where they popped up,

Edit: my comments are in reference to the "donkey Kong forum" twitch chat, which can be seen in the highlight video above..

As usual what I was looking for was right under my nose all along

Yeah, I can guarentee the comments made in the DKF twitch channel were meant tongue-in- cheek, whenever someone pulls something good off score-wise ect, you'll see a lot of "BS" "Hacked roms" "Juiced board" and so on.. thats just the kind of sense of humour that goes on around here

For the rest of the responses leading up to this point, I get it now.  My only request would be a copy of the annals of "The Scene"...for future reference, of course.

I tried to capture some of the culture created by Allen Staal with my "Staalisms" thread a while back: https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=83.msg827#msg827

I suppose that someone who has been keeping up with "The Scene" ought to make a JCBisms thread and a Brianisms thread to help the new people catch up on the references.

It'd also be good to just make a thread of "Annals", as you say, where significant events/exchanges (whether on twitch or the shoutbox) are preserved for posterity in rough outline of what took place.

This is an obvious fake individual board score, Adam.  Not only did you not restart after that premature level 4 death, but you were taking a boatload of unnecessary risks to hit that 8900.

Adam's 8,900 Level 7-4 elevator tutorial has been verified.

The  Leader Board  on Page 1 has been updated.

A missed 100 point spring leech after collecting the 3rd prize is all that prevented Adam from claiming the 9K elevator bounty.

Actually, Dean accomplished that feat back in either 2011 or 2012.  Vincent and I were both present for the live broadcast, as were several others.  The achievement is not represented on the list because:

• We don't know the precise score, date, or board (Level 2-2 or 3-3)
• The game was restarted shortly thereafter, and the INP subsequently overwritten
• The broadcast was never highlighted, and has long since been deleted

Perhaps Vincent can provide additional details.  Unfortunately, I cannot.

KS: 1,000 (1,100 is possible but I don't think anyone has done it)

183,200 + 1,407,600 + 45,300 + 1,000
