Thanks Jason! It’s been an awesome journey so far.
For this latest update, I have hit a couple other milestones that brings me a step closer to that DK Masters Rank A.
After a little derusting with Donkey Kong Jr., I finally managed to break the 1.3 million mark. I had two previous games that landed at 1.1 and 1.2 before my breakthrough. I really had a lot of fun relearning this game and will be back for my 1.5 journey.
Crazy Kong was a little different story as I felt I was struggling to make headway. I put in quite a few games before I broke the 700k mark again. I felt like I had the same problem with CK as I do with DK with the barrels not seeming to steer. Well that wasn’t going to stop me and I was able to finally throw down a decent game of 765,200pts securing the Rank A requirements for Crazy Kong!
So where does that leave me?…. You guessed it, fking Donkey Kong. The hardest of all the master requirements IMO. I now have a good feel on what it takes to get the 1.13 but it’s just going to take that dedication and determination to get the job done. I have had a few games that made it a bit over half way on a good 1.18 pace. Just got to get my head out of my ass and finish it off!
DK Masters is such a great challenge! If you want to be know as one of the best all around DK players, then this is the path to do it. Will you stay stagnant as a one hit wonder, collecting accolades on all those kill screens or climb out of that comfort zone and strive for greatness? I guess wait and see…..
