I wanted to post this video here. I was practicing on the blue chains and got three birds with one fruit. Sure it has been done before but I had not done it yet.

I wonder if it is possible to finish the spring board with all smashes and get 5700 on the bonus timer. Anyways, until the world reveals that feat here is the 5600 version.

Guys, I've just had my biggest game yet!

No kill screen but I did hit the big 1M - 1034,000

Wiped out on level C - 4. I recorded the whole game on my webcam so i'll upload some of the game at some point soon. A pity the KS didn't happen this time but the score is more important right now....but I will be trying again soon!

Thanks Mark. Yeah I didn't see the score coming at all, just slowed the game down and got stuck in.

Towards the end of the game I started to rush slightly as I was relieved to break the 837k cloud that's been haunting me for almost a year! Probably wasn't a good idea to stop playing last year but i'm enjoying the game again now.

Big score there Jonesy Kong!  Just a little bit more, and you'll be in the top 10!  It's amazing to think that just 5 years, and 7 months ago Ike Hall had for a time the official TG Donkey Kong Junior record at 1,033,000 points.   Things have certainly changed since then.

The top 10 list now actually has become much more significant.  When I started playing Junior seriously back in June of 2010 873k was the 10th place score.  Half of the top 10 scores were from the 80's.   Now all but one of the top 10 scores have been achieved in the past 4 years.  If someone ever gets the ball into motion I could even see a Junior Off.

Pretty amazing how the scores have changed in recent years. I don't think there can be much more room for many more points at the very top of the Junior ranks.

I have uploaded a video to youtube basically showing where the lives were lost and some pretty big mistakes, especially the first life I did learn a lot from this game though and I look forward to trying to whoop this score in the coming weeks/months and aim to slot into the top 10. The muting/beeps are swearing cover ups but some may have slipped through the net

I got a nice three smash with the second fruit on level 3 hideout. I didn't have it in a video yet so here you go. In about a month I will be starting graduate school and that will drastically limit my time to play any games Hopefully I can get a game or two in there and keep trying to learn how to play around 1.3 pace.

It is perhaps my 3rd or 4th attempt at 1.35M. I decided to do it on mame, that way I can just get the WR on mame while pushing up my score. I got 769,600 this evening but at a really good pace. With deaths I was on track for 1.35M. I just got to do it on a good night without headache, and being tired. I only played because I was bored.

Here is the highlight of this attempt. As usual I will post updates to improving my pb at this pace.
