I think there is a fairness issue involved with the asterisk, since some of us (like myself) have scores that would have been 15K or so higher if we had NOT been forced to adhere to TG's "no warp" rule at the time of the run.
My 608,900 game would probably be 622K to 625K (4th or 5th, below Sczerby but somewhere neck-and-neck with Jeff Wolfe) if I'd been able to do the floor-jump, as they did on their games.
It was a mistake to ever forbid it (IMO), but the damage is grandfathered-in already, so it's probably fair to make note of it.
But the hammer drop was never forbidden or considered questionable so I don't think that should have any bearing on the HS table.
EDIT: I just F10'd through my 608,900 game, made a save state at the 22-1 "HOW HIGH" screen, then did a "what-if" from there. I ended up with 625,100 when the 22-4 KS kicked in.
