Happy Anniversary - 10 Years of DKF!

Jeff Harrist founded DKF 10 years ago with no expectation that the site would grow into what it is today. People have come and gone, but with the hundreds of active users, tens of thousands of posts, and thousands of score submissions, JC's vision of a place that could foster the love for DK and CAG came true. Despite the ups and downs, I'm happy to have shared my time here with all of you. Keep going good, I reckon.

We've had a great 10 years. The separation from CAGDC forums was the best thing to happen to the Donkey Kong Community.
It was time to leave the nest, and the community to spread it's wings.
JC of course will always be missed. Glad the move was made

Hear hear, Spacey. We were wandering around with no home back in those days. I remember playing that IGBY on my work laptop while at the beach. DKF has been a fantastic haven for so many of us. Thanks to Jry for everything he's sacrificed over the years, and thanks to Wes and everyone else who was playing chess when you-know-who was playing checkers while not securing the .net domain. How you all keep putting up with my dad jokes and dad-level play is beyond me, but I you all.

I've been here most of the 10 years. I didn't know who any of y'all were and I still don't. I tried to scare you all away and make it all mine but you keep coming back. So that makes you my kind of people.  That's all I need to know.  A bunch of stubborn old gamers.
