Goal achieved! RBS was never the original plan, I've just been having fun playing DK3 again beginning last month, but once I got some practice in, I wanted to see if I could get there. Came pretty close with a 3-million game last weekend, so I'm very happy to have finished the task today. Think that'll do me for D4...at least for now!
omg wow
Two fantastic WR scores and the first D4 RBS ever! Verified and updated on
Jason's DK3-D4 Blog!
For those following along at home, reaching the Repetitive Blue Screen (board 160) has never been achieved on Difficulty 4/Hardest...not even by the greatest DK3 player in history, George Riley. Quite an achievement, sir. And, for the record, your 870k 5-man score occurred during a marathon game in which you actually beat your previous D4 Marathon WR...a week ago lol.
The first five deaths in the 870k 5-man game were:
497,200
523,200
650,700
846,800
870,000
With a final score of: 2,758,600
For comparison, the first five deaths in the 3.27M game were:
213,800
384,500
473,200
505,600
569,300
With a final score of: 3,274,400, ending on board 161.
Also, regarding my calculations on the potential RBS score for a D4 RBS game:
-Barra's 2.2M game ends on board 112, 70% of the way to the RBS. 2,202,000 is 70% of 3,145,714.29.
-Riley's 2.4M game ends on board 124, 77.5% of the way to the RBS. 2,407,400 is 77.5% of 3,106,322.58.
-JV's 2.5M game ends on board 125, 78.125% of the way to the RBS. 2,506,400 is 78.125% of 3,208,192.
Average of those three calculations is 3,153,409.62. So it looks like a D4 RBS score will be in about the same range as the other difficulties...maybe a hair lower?
Your score going into the RBS was 3,230,300...way ahead of my shitty prediction. How.
Anyway, what's left? D1 5-man RBS? D1 marathon WR? No, you're right...Jr. Pac normal speed WR.
ggs sir. Can't wait to see what game you destroy next.
