A friend of mine at the Minneapolis Up Down got 1,240,700 on difficulty 2 yesterday. I made him aware of where a score like that would place him on the all-time list and he was pretty excited. I'm gonna try to work with him to see if we can record him playing a 1M+ game at some point in the future so he can get on the list!

That's really cool that there is another million point DK3 player. Hopefully you cag canfilm the dip switches after the game. :)

Don't worry about it...the DK3 difficulty issue is confusing for everyone!  ;D These submissions were done on MAME default settings which applies to the "Difficulty 1 - Marathon" HSL. Both of these scores are verified and the 123k scores has been added to the DK3 HSL! Congrats! I would like to note, however, that your average recorded speed was around 98.4% for the 123k game...dangerously close the currently-unofficial-but-soon-to-be-official threshold for INP submissions. You might want to look into your PC/MAME setup and see if you can't get closer to 100%. Perhaps an older version of MAME might help. You can always check the current speed of your recordings by pressing F11 in MAME.

Id like to suggest some novice badge and/or intermediate badge, like 100k pts for each of the 3 DK games and/or like 500k pts for each of the 3 DK games... for example, novice, it would be difficulty 2 or 3 on DK 3 for it to be worth, like an incentive to play the games and get better... something like that, if its not viable, please, disregard...

Small PB easy settings. I had no clue I had 16 mean left at a million or I would have played much different. Drop control panel cut my leg. Same cabinet same boards lol. I'll do better for hard settings to verify. 1,381,000

OK, great job! I watched your game. Your maneuvering on board 28 was a thing of beauty. Yeah, you died, but the game literally threw everything at you to do it. Your play style seems more favorable for Hard settings.  Hard settings favors aggressive play while easy settings favors defensive play.
At the end you had the potential of a much higher score.  The problem is the game likes to kick you when you are down. And if you panic when this happens you can bleed men very quickly.
Well you definitely have potential for a higher score. That's obvious.
