About 5 years ago I made a thread where I basically said that the conversion rate was subtracting 200,000 points. Based on the relative ease Wes, and Barra got a 1.13 million score and a 1.16 million score, I believe the true rate is subtracting 275,000 points. So Barra's 1,167,500 score is in actuality a 892,500 score if it was a Donkey Kong score. I guess I overestimated the difficulty of people doing the Dean trick. It seems pretty standard procedure for almost everybody to learn this trick. Of the top 11 scores, only Steve Wiebe's score doesn't employ the Dean trick. So for me it's a tough pill to swallow realizing that my 1.313 million score is in reality a 1.038 million score if it was a Donkey Kong score, but it comes off that way.
So here's the top 10 in Donkey Kong Junior, and also what the scores would be when converted with the minus 275,000 point formula.
