Hitchhiker's Guide reference?

I guess so, albeit an unintentional one.

I actually had to google "hitchhiker's guide" and "don't panic" to discover the connection.

There, it's out in the open:  I'm a science fiction poser.   

I read "The Neuromancer" my freshman year of college during Physics class.  Total champion.

I had to google 'The Neuromancer'.  Another science fiction poser right here... and to make me more of a poser, I have to admit that I've never read 'The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy', but I did play the Infocom Text Adventure game as a teenager.

I actually only read Neuromancer because Sonic Youth had mentioned numerous times that their record Daydream Nation was heavily influenced by it. 

So I'm technically still a Sci-Fi poser.  On my bike I suppose.....

I really like Sonic Youth, enjoying the albums 'Dirty' and 'Goo' immensely, but strangely enough never listened to 'Daydream Nation'.  I'm apparently a music poser.  .
