So I setup my TeamSpeak server again. Its available for everyone to use 24/7
Basic setup information....
Download teamspeak
version 2 from
ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/teamspeak.org/releases/ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe(If you decide to go grab it from teamspeak.com, just get the '
Client 2.0.32.60' , not the '
Client (updated binary) 2.0.33.7') You can update the binary after you have it setup though.
Install it
Open TeamSpeak client
Click 'Connection' then 'Connect'
Right click on server and pick 'add server'
Name the server anything you would like, i use 'AtHomeTech'
In server address type
teamspeak.athometech.comType in a nickname (any name like)
Check 'Anonymous'
Use password 'caguser'
Click 'Connect'
That will get you connected.
Next I recommend using a
push to talk key.
Click on 'Settings" then 'Sound input/output settings"
'SET' a push to talk key (I use ALT)
'Close"
If you cannot hear audio or cannot get your mic to work you may need to setup the input and output devices...
Click on 'Settings" then 'Options"
Make sure your input device is your mic or webcams mic
Output should be "Primary Sound Driver" for most everyone.
Good luck, If you need any help, JC and Ben both have it setup and working.
Have fun.. See ya complicated Skype!
