Donkey kong by year end goals

Ok so since joining the donkey kong forum I've had sort of a regained interest in donkey kong gaming. Since about November of last year after twin galaxies announcement of no longer taking submissions unless world record I kind of put DK on the backburner. actually it was actually around Aug. of last year where I kind of got burned out. Now it's time to just have fun playing Donkey Kong with a great community of members and not really give a shit about what I can't control. I mean I guess I'm being hypocritical by setting goals when I just said about not giving a shit about what I can't control but I'm going to anyways.
 First goal is Donkey kong Kill screen by end of April. This goal can be any score but I usually play at an 850-870k pace. After this goal then for 900k by the beginning of June. I'd say That since I just really started playing back in mid feb again after I read about the wildcard rematch 2 I've been playing better than ever before. Having two games today in the 500k out of a few restarts after deaths before the 5th level and when I finally got a game going beyond the 5th level I achieved both these 500k games. Having my over 700k game at the tournament I don't believe these goals are so far fetched. Here's the goal that will seem out of reach but I think I could still do it......
1 Million by my bday Oct 12th. This is more geared towards the players that haven't achieved 1 million yet. Anyone can answer though.

What are your goals for this year? I have read another post about games of all sorts but this was is strickly for Donkey kong arcade or mame.
Anyone else have a Million points on there mind before the kong offs?

I said in early Jan that 2013 was going to be a year when I gave DK a red hot go.  Didn't last too long, couple of weeks and I'd given up because I didn't see any real improvement.

My goal now I guess is to play it on a more regular basis, try and have a game or two every week instead of playing 20 in a week and then not touching it for 3 months.

If I can improve my PB to over 300K I'll be happy.  If I can improve my pitiful elevator board success rate I'll be happy.

If I can encourage any Aussie to be the first ( None has come forward if they can to my knowledge) to kill screen this game I'll be even happier.

I have some heavy final exams coming up in the beginning of april but my plan is that when they are done, sometime later in april, I will stream my quest for the million. Hopefully I will have a better camera than I had for the wildcard rematch 2 haha...  Its too bad that I have to focus on my studies right now, I have really been feeling like i'm consistently improving myself at DK

I'm still chasing my 1st DK Junior kill screen. Once this is done 1M is my next target. Then i'm looking to start playing DK again. I'm currently restoring two DK cabs to bring home. Not played it in a couple of years as i sold my old cab but i was hovering around the 400k mark. So again the kill screen is my target, then hopefully 1M....and i can't wait to get started!

Personally, my goals by the end of the year is to beat Hank's high score, and beat Hank at the Kong Off 3.

Some of you will say that these are not goals, these are facts. But anyway...

Haha, yeah. I don't wanna get a dress, gotta get 1.17m ;-).

And yeah, I do go from time to time on bodybuilding.com, mainly for the IFBB pro bodybuilding section.

Awesome Vincent. I use to lift. Not real heavy but now I'm getting fat so I need to get back in it. I've gained like 40 pounds so I'm getting up there. Don ever stop liftin my friend.

Don't worry, I won't stop lifting. I mean... every time I want to stop weightlifting, I ask myself:"Do I REALLY want to become as weak as Hank?!" this is without a doubt the best motivation someone can have!

Hold off on buying Vincents dress yet.  He's going to be twice the size he was at ko2 by the time ko3 gets here.  Vincent, your gym won't allow you back if they see you in a dress this fall.  lol.

I'm going to be optimistic and say my goal is to qualify for KO3, or at least get 1.02m+ before this fall.

I think I'm at the point where I can execute pretty well, just need to be able to maintain that execution and focus for a full game.

Just yesterday I did a 499,800 first man at 1.02m+ pace. Unfortunately I couldn't last until the end of the game.

Im the only CDN player (that I know of) that plays on a somewhat serious level that has yet to reach 1 million (Vincent, Jeff W, and Phil Tudose have all achieved 1m+)

Awesome d3sCride. I'm usually playing at a good pace for my kill screen. Upper 900k usually 970-1 million pace but backed my game to survival mode For the wildcard rematch 3 and upped my pb a little. Reaching the 20th level for the 2nd time. I swear if donkey kong had just one more man I'd have about 30 kill screens by now. Lol. Btw my game ended at 20-1 so I was at around 875k pace or so. Not a bad pace but nothing extraordinary.
