Venture - Does Game End After Level 9?

Does anyone in the forum know if Venture ends after Level 9 and all 36 treasures have been captured?

I got to Level 9 recently (see photo) and completed Level 9 back in the mid-80s... if memory serves, the game ends after that level but I am not sure.

A $75 bounty is currently being offered for the accomplishment: "Complete 44 levels of Venture (venture). This means you will get all the treasures and then complete the next 8 rooms."

Ohhhh... really!!! I remember reading that a while ago. Nobody has claimed it playing in MAME yet? My score is on the original cabinet at Galloping Ghost.

Based on the term "44 levels", the game obviously does continue.

That makes the bounty really difficult! With the batshit crazy hall monsters, it is difficult to even get to the Bat Room. (They need to spawn in the right places.)
