Sorry for wording the title like youtube clickbait/dyslexic but I was wondering just how long did it take you all to reach your first killscreen from picking up DK and playing semi seriously. So not like when you played a little as a kid?

Around a year and a half, including taking some months off during that time. I think I had 6 750k+ games before finally finishing it.

4 calendar months, with about a month off, due to power and machine issues. 20+ hours a week during that time.

Exactly 6 months to the day with one solid month off. I played a ton of games on my cab, bought a second cab for my girlfriend's house, and kill screened the new cab on my second or third quarter.

Around 6-7 months from a pb of 20k to a kill screen

Numerous breaks in between and was playing other stuff throughout. Doesn't take away from what a brutal grind it was to get there.

Multiple close calls as well. Best one was when I had a pb of 650k; had a 690k first man then Vincent came in and I bombed out at 750k. On that note, ban him, Mitch and
