An updated look at the Donkey Kong playing field over the years. The first table shows what kind of score was necessary to reach a certain rank ("What score do I need to get into the top 25?"). The second table shows the lowest rank possible for certain score plateaus ("What rank would I be if I got exactly 1,000,000?"). Allen Staal provided for reference. 875,000 is used in the second table as a rough "first time killscreen" score.
Each column is the status of DK competition at the end of that year. The years start with 2011 because it was relatively easy to piece together the end-of-year standings from that point forward. Data is gathered from
kongtrac.kr and includes both official scores and unofficial (but believable) scores. It also takes into account the more accurate history of Billy Mitchell's scores.
