What I mean by Hipster games, are games that were well made, but never made it to the mainstream of Arcade society.
So big games like Donkey Kong, Centipede, Frogger, Space Invaders, Ms. Pacman are not allowed.

that world series looks cool, the way the pitch comes in, gotta try it.

i'm old enough that i remember playing the original variant(s) of extra inning at the hotel across the highway from the KCRoyals' stadium in the 70s.  i love that game but it's tough & the ball goes right through your outfielder sometimes, not cool.

I love baseball arcade games.   They probably deserve their own list at some point.  Also, wow, 70's Royals baseball.  So good.  At least the mid to late 70's.

World Series is really cool with the pull sticks. You can pull the ball as a batter and throw curves as a pitcher. You'd obviously lose that experience on a basic MAME setup. Quarterback has a similar stick to throw the ball. Fun times...
