Yes, this is complete fantasy, and very unlikely to happen.

Still, I see that Saudi Arabia is doing yearly eSports tournaments and is actually going to an Olympic style event in 2027.
So, as the MEME says, "The chances are small, but never zero" or words to that effect.

So, there you have it. Do you go to Saudi Arabia with all expenses paid plus $15,000 to play the game you're best at or do you politely refuse?
Going to Saudi Arabia for the big payday has been considered by some to be controversial. Even others see it as selling out.

So, what say you?
I'm undecided. That type of money would go a long way to paying off my student loans though.

The question should be more nuanced than "would you go?".

If said event is funded by a private company, intended to be attended by regular Saudi citizens, where the royal family has no influence, I would lean toward a yes.

If the event is funded or otherwise influenced by the royal family, I'm out.

There's a lot more to take into account than just that, but this would be my starting point.
