Donkey Kong Junior World Record History

I wanted to get assistance in compiling a timeline of the MAME/Arcade world record on Junior. This is what I have so far. Please contribute if you know other dates/scores/circumstances.

MAME
Corey Chambers 1,323,200 Aug. 6th 2014
George Riley       1,313,800 Aug. 8th 2012
George Riley       1,308,000 May 12th 2012 - this was highest in both mame and arcade at the time
Don Hayes             921,900 Feb. 8th 2005 - should be july 9 of 2003 (according to marp)

Arcade
Mark Kiehl         1,412,200 May 23rd 2013
Mike Kasper      1,349,000 Mar 20th 2013
Mark Kiehl         1,307,500 Jul. 19th 2010 - date given on youtube video description
Billy Mitchell      1,270,900 Jul. 31st  2010? timeline confusion or July 24th
Steve Wiebe    1,190,400 Feb. 11th 2010 or Feb 16th?
Mark Kiehl         1,147,800 Sep. 3rd 2009
Steve Weibe     1,139,800 Apr. 24th 2009
Icarus Hall        1,033,000 Aug. 10th 2008 - wiki sourcing TG with broken link, but not on our list
Billy Mitchell         957,300 ???????? 1983

In the KoK it sounded as if Wiebe took the title from Billy instead of this Icarus person. And then again from Mark as long as the timeline is correct.

Here's some scores that I can find right now to maybe fill in some of the mising spots.

MAME :

marp user "vertex-b" 1,040,100 8/28/2004

Arcade:

Jeff Brandt 591,000 10/24/1982
Jeff Brandt 787,400 11/7/1982
Kent Farries 948,000 11/7(?)/1982
Billy Mitchell 957,300 11/--/1982

According to what I have read, the scores from 11/82 were all achieved at the Life Magazine event in Ottumwa, IA. The story goes that Jeff got the 787k, which may have beaten his own record...not sure on that, by reaching the killscreen. Then Kent, learning of the end of the game, use this to his advantage and sacked men to get his score. I think Billy got his score at this event also, but also not sure on that one.

Steve Wiebe 1,004,000 9/10/2002 (later removed due to being achieved on a double DK board)
Ike Hall 1,033,000 8/10/2008
Steve Wiebe 1,139,800 4/24/2009
Mark Kiehl 1,147,800 9/03/2009
Mark Kiehl 1,253,000 4/19/2010

This is the best I can do right now...I'm too lazy to make a fancier table. This data is from TG and MARP. If there is date information for both TG and MARP, the score was submitted to both sites. If there is date information for one or the other, it was only submitted to one site. Please note the weird dates for VERTEX-B's score. MARP timestamps the INPs based on a particular timezone (GMT maybe?) and so looking at date/time information the INPs can appear to be before or after the actual submission upload. So, the INP dates are as they appear with my system time right now. I'll let you figure out the appropriate dates.  ;D

Missing MARP confirm dates mean the score wasn't confirmed or happened before MARP tracked them. The missing MARP submit date means the INP was added to the MARP database after some big database change that I don't know the details of....much like all the February 2005 dates from TG.

The MARP high scores were probably always the MAME WR. I don't think TG starting taking MAME submissions until around 2002. In 2004 the 2nd place MAME TG score was 500k...below NotMan's 622k from 2000. So, by the time TG starting accepting MAME NotMan would have had the MAME WR, followed by Don Hayes.
