Didn't know where else to put this info, so I'll just drop the tid-bits here:
1) Billy claims a pb of 13,200 on 1-1 for arcade; he also vehemently says Brian Kuh's best 1-1 on a cab is 13,100.
2) Billy claims the reasons why Tim Sczerby's beating of his 1982 score recieved no hype was because A) everyone already knew that he (Billy) had already killscreened before his Ottumwa KS (Billy claims he had KSed 3 times before the Life Magazine shoot time), and B) that his personal best was actually 909,xxx (from one of those 3 KSs before Ottumwa).
3) Billy claimed that the KoK filming crew asked him to be the one to draw on his DK machine with chalk to show the spring paths on the elevator stage, but he refused. He thinks Steve is a doofus for having agreed to do so instead.
4) He still says he is out of shape on DK and he implied that if he played at WR pace right now he'd probably get a lot of 300-400k attempts.
I'll try to remember if there was anything else I was trying to remember to post on DKF from my time talking with Billy. If I recall something else, I'll edit it in.

Awesome Mitch!

No surprise there. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the only place Tim actually beat Billy or Steve was "on paper", in the TG database. Both had PBs well above Tim's 879K when Tim got his score. And everybody, both the CAG community and the filmmakers, knew this.
What Tim did to Billy was (sorta) the equivalent of somebody beating Dean's current TG score of 1,167,400 (just an "official" score), whereas what Steve did to Billy was the equivalent of beating Dean's 1,206,800 (the actual PB).
Tim will never be able to make peace with this, but he does not fit into the movie and would have been a complete dead-end of a story point. You can't do that when telling a story!

Brian told me the same thing. He loves playing that board and I just don't get why Kappa

Isn't it said or implied by walter in KOK that billy's first KS was the ottumwa life magazine score?
-
Yeah, right after he says that it was "the highest Donkey Kong score possible." ;D

Hahah... it's so hard not to love Billy.
I love this post. I would love to read more stuff like this from Billy.

Yeah, but he's not God. So he has to be careful how he shares his opinions. <Billy>
Way to glean some golden nuggets from Billy, Mitchell. ROFL

Finally the pre 1982 best kill screen from Billy. I have wanted to ask Tgat question for 6 years. Lol. That's man! I knew he had a better score than the 874.
