Some of you may already know that Ross Benzinger has given me an incentive towards getting my first KS: If I KS, he will allow me to teach him Burgertime (a game he -and many others- absolutely hate). However, up until this point, I haven't had much desire to get a KS, mainly because I've wanted my first KS to come both 1) after I get the 1-1 record, and 2) when I have a special game, namely, 1.1m+ or a NH KS. However, as it is right now, I'm fairly busy and do not have enough time to dedicate to DK in order to even go for 1.1m+ or a NH KS... so I'm thinking it might just be more enjoyable for everyone to see Ross suffer ;D , since getting a KS probably wouldn't take too much time/attempts for me (relatively speaking).

I guess I could always go for the lowest KS... but that'd take a lot of time as well. :-\

Well, fwiw, here is why i voted the way i did.
I will never forget my first KS (sometimes i try to forget my 2nd one BibleThump ROFL ), but now that it has been about a year since it happened, I am really way more excited about a new high score pb KS. I genuinely believe I will value my next "large KS" game as much or more than my first KS and the same with the next after that (assuming the score goes up); this is a product of the realized level of accomplishment, specifically the hard work that it took to acquire. What I'm saying is my first KS will always be special, but if your end goal is not "just the KS" (which yours' is clearly not) then your first KS will ultimately mean less to you than realizing your maximum scoring game.

I would say that a game that forces Ross to play BurgerTime would qualify as truly special.

For me the first kill screen was kind of like losing my virginity. Its awesome that it happened but it wasn't that good...

Exactly, Chris. This is kinda the thinking that has put me back on the fence about this. ;D
And, besides.... it's kinda lonely in the BT community. It'd be fun to train Ross into the club. Who knows... maybe he'll actually end up enjoying it! ;)

What da? Brain damage? My first game back to normal DK had a 440k 2nd man. If it weren't for the chitbox, Ross would already be playing BT! I'll be at it again, hopefully, in the next couple of days. If not, at the very least, I'll have plenty of time during the DKO#2.

I streamed a little BT last night, but I'm total garbage, and decided I need to work on the title a little off-stream before I torture any viewers with my horrible gameplay.
You're probably thinking, "No! It's the horrible gameplay we want to see," but trust me, it's not. In fact, you won't want to see the good gameplay either. And so, I'll work on BT off-stream until I'm within striking distance of the million point threshold Mitch and I agreed upon.
If this disappoints you, please take solace in just knowing that I will be playing, and I will be tortured. BT probably isn't as bad as Bagman, as I demonstrated last night, but it's damn close to being the most boring game to watch and play of all-time.

Ross, I just ordered my 60-in-1 board, so if you haven't gotten 1M within 1-2 weeks, I'll be able to give you some helpful tips by streaming some of how I think you'd best be able to allocate your effort.
