Title: When will Allen reach a Donkey Kong kill screen? Poll
Post by: Xermon54 on February 10, 2013, 07:12:45 pm: This is the most important question in the history of Donkey Kong. I personally think he will reach a kill screen somewhere between February and May of this year (I will say March 14th!).

I play alot more games then just DK. Who knows.. He has to beat my score first lol!

Post by: ChrisP on February 10, 2013, 10:29:56 pm: Honestly, Allen could get a kill screen tomorrow if he doesn't get too rough of a game. He has all the skills necessary to do it.

I think his biggest enemy is streaming! It's pretty much impossible for him to get into the zone in that environment. We all want to be there to see it when he does it, but I don't know if streaming-Allen and focused-Allen can ever exist at the same time.

The real question is, when will Allen get a million points? ;D

His PB is only about 100-150k shy from a safe ks, so I don't see why not. watching his stream it's pretty obvious the only reason he hasn't yet is because he has a few holes in his mechanics. if he committed a day or two to fixing those holes he could kill screen in no time.

edit: And now I see that was for 2013. Whoops Kappa

Depending on what day it is, Allen plays with a random mixture of leaks and strengths. He gets rid of one leak and springs another. Then he patches it and the first one comes back.

Eventually he'll have a day where he sits down one day and everything (that he already knows) will come together and he'll finally killscreen.

(Then he won't crack 200K for 4 months)

Such is the magic of Allen.
