Where do you live? DKs are a dime a dozen. You probably can't find an easier machine to get. Maybe a Ms. Pac.

I find the average is around 600 bucks. Some people try and charge over a grand. I mean if it's in perfect condition maybe but 600 seems like a decent price. You get lucky like me you can get an awesome deal. But I waited for I've a year checking craigslist daily for when I got mine for like 250.

Post on KLOV, join some Facebook groups, call some ops, look on craigslist in the areas you'd be willing to drive to, see if there's any local arcade forums or groups near you. DKs grow on trees in the States. I wouldn't pay a penny over $750 and it would have to be in really really nice shape. You might have to be patient but they're out there. Took me probably two-three months before I found mine.

You have to remember that people are asking a lot more for these machines than they will actually take when push comes to shove. They're putting that $1K price up there just in case they catch a sucker.

Actually, push really doesn't have to come to shove. If you told all of those people, "I'm interested, but I can really only afford $600" at least half of them would take it right then and there.
