As of the end of my stream last night, my counter reads 35,975.
(Bonus question, if you know: where was it when you first brought it into your house? I was at 35,445 on 1/24/2012 when I put the monitor in and powered it all up for the first time. So that's 530 for me, and every drop was a "real" run of either DK, Junior, or D2K, whether myself or guests. I'm anal about always using coins for real games, always the service switch when testing or messing around).

Was unaware of a counter! I'll have to find it now! lol.

Inside of the coin door. Yours may have been removed.
Kind of amazing to think that people put almost 10 grand in quarters into this thing, and my particular counter isn't even that high relative to others I've seen with 60K plays or more.
Anyway, not much interest it seems. This may be more of a KLOV thread. ;D

I always use the service switch when I play (other than the first 10 games or so...because I thought it was only right to use real quarters for the first few games), but I will try to remember and look at the counter when I get home.
*Mine reads 35220*

I have 2 DK's and a Galaga. One DK is being capped right now, but the other DK reads
23,132 Credits. The Galaga Has 79,683.

What would be really cool is to know the history of where your machine has been. I bought mine from a guy in Fort Worth, TX, but I'm sure at one time this machine was set up in a arcade or store, would be cool to have a sales history from the serial number or something.

Yea Dave I have wondered the same thing. What I do know about my machine is that I got it from a guy in St. Clair Shores, MI...who bought it from a retail/repair store in Canada.

Mine was at Indiana beach and kings island at one time. Has the stickers on it.

My cocktail DK had 45,286 on the counter the day I bought my upright.
By comparison the upright had 25,119 at the time (11/4/2011).
Today, my upright has 25,505 on the counter. I shoot for "one game a day" but don't get to play every day.

Mine has had 31,166 on the counter since I bought it. I only use the service switch. It has no coin mechs in it.

43,959. I wonder how many of those are mine. I used to use quarters when TG lifted the 1M live rule. Everyone was paranoid at the time and I didn't want to give anyone a reason to DQ me. Nowadays I just hit the service button.

I dunno, maybe it's just because I spent a billion hours (and dollars) in arcades as a kid, but putting the quarter in gives me joy every single time. You guys are no fun with your service switch!
