So i have been getting back into donkey kong again after a good few years away from the game. Realised now why i gave up playing it :).but something amazing has happened. My fiancee has now got that donkey kong feeling. She loves and hates the game just like all of us. But after she watched king of kong last night its made her more determined to have a decent hi score. Not get kill screen or world record but a decent hi score but looking through the top 122 and seeing that is only 260k she thinks she could hit that with lots and lots of practice.
One question she asked is whats the highest score recorded for a female on donkey kong. As we cant seem to find it on net. Or even if there is a score set by a female competetor on donkey kong
Thats the reason i signed up for the forum to find that score to set as a goal. Or to set a score for female gamers to try and reach.
Thanks guys

The highest known and verified score by a female player is 333,200, the personal best of Kayla Rose (who is still an active player).
-
I am not 100% sure but I believe her unverified Personal Best is 350K
-
Ok thanks for the info. Is there a leaderboard or anything of the sort for female gamers so she can have a look at.
As in her words she can see scores and work up the list with set targets.

I highly doubt it, at least not for Donkey Kong. Just go for it and show some of us guys what's up. The scoreboard is open for anyone and everyone to submit scores! Have fun and good luck!

Agreed. My wife seems to much rather be compared to gamers in general as opposed to only members of her gender. I usually get in trouble for mentioning that I think she's the best female Zoo Keeper player in the world, she retorts that she'd much rather be the 50th best Zoo Keeper player or whatever it is.

There is a female gamer who commented on one of my youtube videos yesterday stating she got 460K in the 80's. I think that's the highest I've heard.
-
Bring on the female DKers! I'd love to see one of them step up and compete at the highest level! 1st known female kill screen should be her goal! 8)
-
If she wants an easy score to take down, go for my 89,100!
If she's already beaten that, I would love to know what her high score is. If we are in the same beginner* range, we could have some friendly competition.

Probably scored on the same machine that Steve Saunders scored his 3,000,000 DK game.
People can talk about what they scored back in the day or even now but without actual proof it should not be accepted as fact.......oh.......wait a minute even if one does have proof its still not enough when politics and money are involved.

Wait, so the person known as Mary McManus who claimed to be a protege of Tim Sczerby, and can easily killscreen Donkey Kong is a fraud? But I have seen this Mary McManus stream, and am positive that they are the real deal! :o

Nope, no fraud here........Mary Mc Manus was my grandmothers name ( my god!....... the dead have risen from the grave and are now playing Donkey Kong!)
As for the protege part, what good is playing under an assumed name if you can't drop subtle hints to your real identity. :)
If playing under an "nome de plume" is fraud as you indicate, then just about every one here and other sites is commiting fraud as well ...wouldn't you aggree? :)

Indeed. First thing tomorrow, I'm changing my username to "Fraud_Flintstone". ;)
Not really, it's just the first ridiculous idea that popped into my head.

Just kidding of course. Still your high score is still pretty impressive for a man or a woman!
