Title: greatest day of my life
Post by: jay195 on June 24, 2013, 07:10:11 pm: today i am very happy to say after 25 years of wanting a donkey kong machine, my wishes finally came true. 2 weeks ago i made a trip to funspot with a friend and his 2 kids. i did nothing more than sink quarters (tokens) into the donkey kong machine for the entire time i was there.after returning home i had the itch to look online for a donkey kong machine,boom, i found the deal of a lifetime, and the guy had no clue as to what he was getting rid of, after a 3 hour drive i finally picked up my machine and brought it home.
the machine itself is in 9 out of 10 shape with the exception of the left coin door not working and some minor cosmetic things that can be fixed easily, 500 dollars later, and could not be happier.
anyways, my name is jay and i am new to the forums here,and as a player i am far from most of you guys as my high score is only 112,000 as of right now.i have played mame,had an arcade bartop built for me, but nothing compares to a real machine, i will be posting pics as soon as i get time, i love reading all of the things on here as i learn something new everyday.just a short intro about myself and look forward to sharing stories and talking with all of you in the near future

Post by: jay195 on July 08, 2013, 06:33:17 pm: so far as my progress goes, not a hell of a great score at all, but 118.000 so far, learning alot of tricks that i never knew till finding these forums, have to pick up the high score kit soon, any suggestions as to where i can order it from? i do have the 2 board set as well so it will work without soldering as i have read? these forums really are great, hopefully by summers end, i will start streaming live, first i have a goal of 200.000 before summers end
