Im interested in buying an original Donkey Kong arcade game. I would like it to have the original board with a CRT display. Does anyone know of a good place to purchase one? I saw TNT in PA that sells them .. They seem pretty good.

Keep an eye out for craigs list or klov, befriend arcade owners and ask your friends if they have an extra nintendo cab you can make into a dk; that's what i did, i asked around and 1 of my buddies had a project cab and some parts. I picked up the board set the month before i found the cab from another friend on facebook.
Keep at it, and happy hunting.

That's usually how it works. :D
Craigslist, letgo, offerup, and as said KLOV and facebook groups.
I used to see them on CL pretty frequently, sometimes they'd come up 2 or 3 at a time. Always in varying degrees of desirability/completeness. But, it's been a while since I've seen any. not that I'm looking, but I keep an eye out anyway.
Long story short, be patient. Something will come your way.
Where are you located?

I've been keeping an eye out for one priced right. There were some on the east coast about 60 days ago for $600-800 in great condition. Ones around OKC have been $1500+. You can also buy a cheaper Donkey Kong Junior cabinet & try to find an original DK Board to swap into the DK JR Cabinet. Only boards I see now are AS-IS untested for $220-250 on ebay. I don't think the Double DK or two game set on Mikes is permitted for score submissions if you are playing for fun only it doesn't matter. If you don't mind paying $300-500 bucks for shipping there are some on ebay.

I'm in north-central Virginia, about 75 miles from DC, and I've had an impossible time finding one.

Actually, Double Donkey Kong boards were recently allowed for DKF submissions.
