Title: Mario Bros. 1983
Post by: QuikThumbs on February 13, 2018, 11:39:22 am
I am working hard to improve my Donkey Kong game, but lately I've been drawn to Mario Bros., and am scoring higher in that than DK. Are there any other fans here of that title? Maybe we could start a separate forum. ^^

MaximumSteve (Steve Kleisath) can probably help you, he holds multiple world records on the game.  He is incredible at the game.

Hey guys and hello Quickthumb! Feel free to ask or share anything with me and Stephen Boyer or anyone else on here regarding Mario Bros. I'm glad you are enjoying playing the game!

Sorry to take so long in getting back.
My big question right now is, what is considered the standard difficulty setting? Presently I'm playing on Easy.

Easy is really not used often at all and if you learn the game on Easy then Medium will seem different.  Most of the old records were recorded using Medium with POW so I would suggest starting there and getting used to the greenies (green fireballs).
