I decided to make a thread of great Donkey Kong players who decided to put in the time, and effort into making great scores for other games. The definition I'm going to make for great Donkey Kong player is going to pretty loose. If the person has a killscreen or 875k in Donkey Kong they are a great Donkey Kong player.
Robbie Lakeman- World record holder in Space Zap. Got a fantastic score in Super Pacman, and Burgertime, The End World Record holder, Pulsar World Record holder, Stratovox World Record Holder.
Wes Copeland- Got 1.1 million on Donkey Kong Junior, and 1 million on Donkey Kong 3 Hard, former record holder in Crazy Kong, great Defender player, Pac Man Turbo split screener
Hank Chien- Has the world record in the game Checkman
Ross Benziger- Was captain on a Yolympics team. Headed the crap tournament. 47 Million Zoo Keepr, 1 Million Joust, 1 Million Burgertime. Great Pig Newton player.
John McCurdy- 5.57 in Dragster, former D2K World record holder. Brazil Kong World record holder
Mark Kiehl- Donkey Kong Junior champion
Dean Saglio- 800k on DKJr, and one time contender for the DKJr record.
Thomas Bauer- Gyruss World Record holder
Ethan Daniels-former Pac Man CE DX champion
Jeff Wolfe- Former Super Punch Out!! World Record holder
Phil Tudose- Former Crazy Kong World Record Holder, Tetris Max Out
Corey Chambers- Current DKJr. MAME World Record Holder, holds a number of speedrun records.
Steve Wiebe- former Donkey Kong Junior World Record holder.
Billy Mitchell- Forber Donkey Kong Junior, Burgertime, Centipede, Pac-man, and Ms. Pac man World Record holder
Tim Sczerby- Great Dragon's Lair player
Vincent Lemay- Perfect pace on Pac Man for one million points
Dan Desjardins- Got 9th, and 11th in a Yolympics tournaments. 21st in a BOTA tournament. World Record Rally X Arrangement, WR on Fix It Felix Jr., 10 million Gyruss score, Crazy Kong Killscreen, Space Taxi and Jumpman Commodore 64 WR holder, Crap Tournament 6 1st place, MAME Event First place, DK3 Hard 1 million, and socialite extraordinaire.
Ben Falls- Popeye Arcade champ, DK3 RBSer
Andrew Gardikas former SMB Speedrun world record holder
Andrew Barrow- TGTS Galaga World Record holder, RBSer, Magical Cat Adventure 1CC
Allen Staal- Did something with Mad Caps, but I'm not sure what
Estel Goffinet- Dark Tower record holder, Intrepid World Record Holder
Brian Allen- Mad Aliens World Record holder, Space Firebird World Record Holder, Red UFO World Record holder, 1.07 million in Donkey Kong Junior, 1.7 million in DK3
Ike Hall- Former Donkey Kong Junior World Record Holder
Svavar Gunnar Gunnarsson Tetris Max Out
Mike Kasper- 1st place in BOTA, World Record Holder in Mappy
OK, that's my list. I'm sure I have been negligent in naming other Donkey Kong players who have been great gamers at other games. So if you want to add someone, that'd be fantastic :)

Just looking at the top of your list:
Robbie Lakeman - WR in The End, Pulsar, Stratovox
Wes Copeland - great Defender player and Pac-Man Turbo split screener
Ross Benzinger BENZIGER - Yolympics stats, really? No Zoo Keeper 47M? 1M in Joust, BurgerTime?
John McCurdy - former D2K WR holder, current Brazil Kong WR holder <mad>
What about Thomas Bauer? Gyruss WR holder.
Big lack of console achievements AS WELL
Tudose and Svavar have Tetris max-outs. Ethan was former world #1 in Pac-Man CE DX. Scott Kessler and Andrew Gardikis...SMB...hello?

Thanks for adding those names, and accomplishment. Truth be told I just put things off the top of my head. If my list was too extensive, I'd get no participation. 8)

I personally did a 1m game (1,032m exactly I think) on Pac-Man at a perfect 3,333,360 pace using perfect patterns found on Youtube. I've achieved that within 3 weeks of playing exactly. My last game ever was that 1m game, and while playing this last attempt, I was so bored that I made a promise to myself that even if I don't get 3,333,360 on that game that I should stop because this game is too fking boring <Allen>
Joke aside, getting a perfect Pac-Man score is by far easier than just getting a simple kill screen than Donkey Kong. If I a reason to play as much Pac-Man like I had played playing Donkey Kong, I would have gotten 11364 perfect games. No offense to Pac-Man players, but once you learn the patterns and the timing, this sh*t's easy lol.

All you need to know is that I've gotten a perfect Pac-Man. My DK PB is just over 500k. Pac-man isn't even hard. Broken patters due to boredom are easily rectified. One 2-second lapse on a barrel board - DEAD.

I do it for the love of the game. Something I never really thought of are my other accomplishments but I do submit to TG so I guess that is something. I know there are a lot better players here than me but I guess some on the list for me.
1. My 1st place WR score in Yolmpics for Rally-X Arrangement :D - https://www.twitch.tv/videos/44720739 (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/44720739)
2. World Record on Fix it Felix Jr (AFAIK 297,000).
3. 10M Gyruss Score. Not quite a marathon but I played from open to close and got kicked out of the convenience store Kreygasm
4. Crazy Kong Killscreen.
5. Space Taxi and Jumpman TG World Records on the C64
6. Crap Tournament 6 Victory - Just edging out Zerst cuz he didnt have a lot of time to play with a last second Frisky Tom 1st place score whew!
7. Mame Event 1st Place
8. 1M DK Hard Score
9. Getting to know a lot of awesome folks traveling to BOTA and KOs!

5. Space Taxi and Jumpman TG World Records on the C64
Especially the Jumpman. I lost a good year of my youth pounding that one. Great achievement.
