Title: Donkey Kong Killscreen Mountain

I decided to take a look a the approx. 50 DK killscreen scores and plot them....I call it the Donkey Kong Killscreen Mountain, once you get that first KS this is the mountain to climb. It is an interesting look, especially the fall between 1.0M and 925K. It'll be interesting to replot this in about a year to see the shape change

Haha, cool Dave, I like this.

It paints an actual picture, and brings "How high can you get?" to reality...

We almost don't even see my first kill screen (809k). My second was 793k, I would've been off the chart, haha (yeah, 793k, no joke).

Yes, first time killscreen'ers should aim (throw their hooks) for the middle part of that mountain nowadays, even if you fail, you will land somewhere near. Just a minimal KS doesn't seem the same anymore.

For some reason, this scene, which has nothing to do with game, made me think of this goal.

I'm not so sure about that, Dave.  I've been aiming for the middle of the mountain.  If there's a lake below it, I suspect I'm partially submerged, treading water while waiting for a good samaritan to throw me a flotation device.   :)

Thanks for the welcome! And yes I achieved it 5 or so years ago. Since then I have been working on DKJR. While recently undergoing a restoration on my DK cabaret I started playing DK again, reaching just under 500k.
