Ok last time I ask for help finding a deal on a dk machine lol. I found this guy that has a eight ball action arcade..it's actually a dk cabinet he also says that the PCB is a dk just needs to switch the Roms out which he said he would do for me for 40$. I'll post some pics just wondered what you guys think. I have pics of the PCB and cabinet.

He's asking 450. I imagine it would cost me another couple hundred to buy the marquee and side art.

This looks like a good deal to me. Also changing the ROMs yourself would end up costing you more than $40 as there are about 14 chips you have to swap, some of them pricey to buy.

Check the serial tag above the rear door, make sure it is a TKG* part number. Otherwise, looks like a good deal unless there's something seriously wrong cosmetically, that isn't shown in the pictures.
Also, what's in the control panel? Hard to tell from the pics. Looks like a black ball top joystick. What buttons are in it? The good news is Mike's Arcade is now selling near perfect, if not perfect, Ninty reproduction buttons. I just got some for my blue DK, and find no difference in appearance, feel, performance, compared to the originals in my red cab.
Figuring a bit on the high side for these costs for reproductions, including shipping:
DK marquee - $25
CPO - $80
Bezel - $30
Buttons - $35
Side Art - $85
So, you're in for about another $250, for the above, "have to have it right now, and ordering it off of ebay and/or Mike's Arcade". Better deals might be able to be had with some patience, but probably not by much.
From what I'm seeing, looks like a decent deal.

Offer 350, or just 400 with the Rom swap

Looks pretty awesome to me and it's a Jap cab made of ply and not that particle board stuff.

Hard to tell by the clarity of that picture, but if those are all original orange DK buttons, then you've got some money coming back out of that cabinet. Original orange buttons are impossible to find, there is always demand. Replace the 1P and 2P orange buttons with blue repro's from Mike's Arcade, and sell those orange's individually for a pretty penny. :)

Total package deal w/ repro accessories $800? Can't find one of those around my area. Dang.

The tag looks good. From what I know of the serial number sequencing, that serial number would have come toward the end of DK's production run. The gold iso transformer matches up with it being toward the end of the production run. The fact that the sticker below the serial tag is still in tact, at least the portion that is visible in the picture, also points to the cab being in generally good condition.
My opinion hasn't changed based on this new information. Looks to be a possibly good deal, based on everything I'm seeing.

Where are you located? There is a fully original Kong outside of Denver for $675 (listed for 750, when I put in a lowball offer she came back with her 'bottom dollar'). Link below.
