Has anyone else ever played version of the original Donkey Kong game that was included with Donkey Kong 64 for the Nintendo 64? I scored 339,000 before losing my last life on level 10 in the cement factory.
Here is a video from a YouTube user who scored 1,222,900 points in the game:
donkey kong 1,222,900 millions, DK64 version, dk arcade, nintendo 64 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lekPEle8F8w#)

Seemed to have lesser screens then the Real Arcade Verson.
if anything it was DK NES? Arcade never showed a millon point score allso.

The version for the Nintendo 64 was based on the Japanese version (the stages in both versions appeared in the same order).

I don'nt belive the Japan verson would show a millon point score.

Don't let the Pie Factory Support Group see this.

Weird, it is set up like normal DK, but many of the elements play like the NES version.
-
Ha! The fireballs don't re-spawn in the pie factory stage! Nice.

According to the description for an earlier YouTube video attributed to the person who scored 1,222,900 points in the version of the original Donkey Kong game released with Donkey Kong 64, the person scored one million points in the game while on level 28. Here is the video of that earlier achievement:
donkey kong - a million points, DK64 version level 28, this version of the game has no killscreen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kp7_INbkXDc#)

I have just scored 350,100 points in this version of Donkey Kong before losing my last life to a jack while climbing the top ladder of stage 3 (the elevators stage) while on level 10. Along the way I employed two different strategies to keep myself calm as objects and enemies were getting faster: I started skipping the purse in stage 3 by level 7 and started using the second ladder at the bottom of stage 2 (the cement factory) by level 9.

I actually looked for this version before I moved to MAME, and after I was done with 6+ hour attempts with the NES version. Does anyone know where I could find this for the 64? Maybe I am not looking right, lol. ;)
