OK, this is in reference to the four main Kong games. Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Junior, Donkey Kong 3, and Crazy Kong. This is in reference to people who have high scores in either MAME or Arcade for the four games mentioned. I won't repeat names(Yeah, the list looks kind of crazy by not repeating names. Hey I slight myself by doing that as well), but some names are responsible for the history of Kong in multiple ways.
Donkey Kong Arcade champions- Billy Mitchell, Tim Sczerby, Steve Wiebe, Hank Chien, Robbie Lakeman, Wes Copeland
Donkey Kong MAME champions- Ben Jos Walbeehm, Dean Saglio, Ross Benzinger, Scott Kessler
Donkey Kong Arcade No Hammer champions-Jeff Wolfe, Estel Goffinet, Clayton Brookins, Shawn Cram, Brian Kuh
Donkey Kong Level 1-1 Arcade champions-Mitchell Elliot, Ethan Daniels
Donkey Kong Level 1-1 MAME champions-Jeff Willms, Vincent Lemay, Phil Tudose, Joe Cain, George Erway,
Donkey Kong Junior Arcade champions-Mike Kasper, Mark Khiel, Ike Hall, Anotnio Medina, Matt Brass, Ken Farries, Tony Henson
Donkey Kong Junior MAME champions-Donald Hayes, George Riley, Corey Chambers, Vertex-B, Not Man, kft, Randood, buddude, Rodimus Prime, Veg
Donkey Kong 3 Arcade champions-Yashuhiro Oda, George Daniels, Lloyd Bromola, Dwayne Richard
Donkey Kong 3 MAME (Medium) champions- Keith Heaton, Rodrigo Lopes, Joshua Eubanks, Steve Krogman
Donkey Kong 3 MAME (Medium)(5 man) champions-Casey Landis, Anthony Murphy, Craig Gallant, Robert McCauley
Crazy Kong Arcade champion-JJ Cahill, J.C. Harrist
Crazy Kong MAME champions- Sampras@AIVA, IUR Dhurin, Dith, Oldie
Special Mention-Brian Allen, Allen Staal, and Jason Corey Brittain. All three have been involved in one of the more interesting rivalries of Donkey Kong history
Big Kong-Jeremy Young
P.S. There are some great players not mentioned here, and some players who only spent a day on any of these games, but got when the getting was good. It's a lot harder to be on any of these lists because the competition has brought them to super hard levels. So yeah, it's kinda unfair to those who arrived late in the scene

Shane Mosher for 1-1? Surely you mean Ethan Daniels...
-
Benjamin J Walbeehm = Ben Jos Walbeehm
Robbie has the CK arcade WR. Phil should definitely be listed for CK MAME as he is the greatest CK player of all time.
I've heard a very reputable rumor that Shawn Cram was playing DK No Hammer on 6+1 settings.

Yeah, this is a crazy list though. I am not repeating anyone twice. You don't see me on Donkey Kong 3 for instance
-
Not repeating anyone means the list isn't historically accurate. Both Billy and Steve should also be listed on the DK Jr Arcade, for instance. It is an outrage to not have Phil on the CK MAME list.

George still hasn't fixed the error on his DK3 high score list, so... ::)

OK, the list is not "History of high score champions" It's people who have stitched a history in Kong. I am not looking for an historically accurate champions list. This is just to mention the people who have been a champion at one or more games. As far as Phil goes, he was the MAME Donkey Kong 1-1 champion, and that is prior on the list.
Like I said, this list will look crazy to most people. As much as it's an outrage not to list Phil as the Crazy Kong champion it's just as much of an outrage to not list me as the Donkey Kong 3 champion, but hey, that goes against my "Not repeating names" thing.

Then why is Shane Mosher on this list? When was Neil Chapman the 1-1 MAME champ?

Go look at the Donkey Kong 1-1 list yourself. In September 2013 Mitchell Elliot had the highest Donkey Kong Arcade 1-1 score. Shane Mosher got his Donkey Kong 1-1 Arcade score in August of 2013. There happens to be a ton of MAME submissions that don't count for Arcade. Look at the date for Neil Chapman's score. It's 2009. Before it was a big thing for Donkey Kong 1-1 scores. All the scores ahead of Neil are 2010 or sooner.

Ethan and Mitch both had 11k+ 1-1 on Arcade before Shane got 10,500. Ethan is currently tied with Mitch for highest Arcade 1-1, but you ignored that apparently. Neil Chapman's 1-1 MAME score of 11,600 from December 2009 was never the highest 1-1 MAME score. Vince had 11,800 and Dean had 12,800 earlier that year.

OK, I fixed that Thanks for the input.

Well whatever, I have been doing this longer than you. I am a creative, and it's hit or miss for me. If you don't like my thread, than you can get out of it. Don't you have a Donkey Kong competition you are supposed to be competing in?
