Title: Lakeman Strikes Back!!! 1,172,100!!!
Post by: xelnia on September 18, 2015, 02:47:42 am: Just under 6 hours after Wes Copeland scored 1,170,500 to take the arcade world record from Robbie Lakeman (then at 1,158,400), Robbie threw down a new arcade best of 1,172,100!!! Two of the best DK games ever played came only a few hours apart. Wes deserves an enormous amount of respect for taking the record from Robbie, but Robbie has shown just how great a player he really is. What's next guys?

RTM REPLY - maybe it's worth maintaining the rankings of players' combined arcade and MAME scores for those who have submitted on both ?

Congrats to both players who broke the 1.17M threshold !!

Wes submitted his score to TG, I've not seen Robbie's submission yet. So, Wes should get approved first, he'd be the official record holder and would have the badge until Robbie submits his score (or approved if already submitted). If it doesn't go down that way, I'd suggest giving him the badge for a day at least to honor the achievement. Just a thought.
