Title: How many hours have you played Donkey Kong?

For me if I remember correctly it's over 450 hours of game play.  So yeah I definitely did put in a good amount of time at one point.  So how about you?  What is your amount of time on the game?

I dunno. Five, maybe six?

I kid. It's impossible for me to provide even a ballpark estimate, since I've played it off and on (mostly off) for over 15 years. I doubt it could be over 200. My greatest Donkey Kong accomplishment (gameplay-wise) is scoring 173,800 points... starting with six lives. So even Eminem is a much better player than I am. :P

My second-best high score is 114,300, but I neglected to write down how many lives I'd used. I think it was three (I believe I'd have noted it if I'd used six), so this probably represents my best performance in the game.

Bet you all feel better about your scores now, huh?

I think I can honestly say I've played 1-1 more time-wise than I've played actual full game attempts. The longest I've ever played full game attempts was maybe 4.5 hours straight (like 1 or 2 times), but I've had multiple 1-1 sessions over 5 hours (mainly going after challenges and practicing skills).

If I had to estimate (and err on the side of over-estimation), I say my full game attempts total time is about 100 hours. I played maybe a total of 50 hours to get to 370K, had maybe 15 or so 400-700k games, a KS, and also about 4-5 sessions playing at all-out pace mixed in there. Maybe if you added in KOs and other tournaments there's something like 10 more hours in there. If you added in all the other time going after challenges, WBH, and 1-1, then, idk... maybe I'm at 300 hrs or something like that.

Its an interesting thought however one thats most likely impossible for a lot of players. I'm just a poser that has been playing this year and I wouldn't have a clue how many hours. Be infinitely harder for those who have been player years to estimate something like this
