Title: Donkey Kong competition, retro game festival in Sweden
Post by: Svavar on September 23, 2014, 05:24:17 am
To fellow Nordic Donkey Kong players. There is a retro game festival in Malmö, the 11. October. Besides looking like an awesome event, they'll have a Donkey Kong competition and it would be awesome to see some of the DK-playing Swedes there. Just wanted to spread the word  8)

Where can you see about the DK competition? Are you sure it wasnt Tungur Hnifur competition?

Anyway, to my limited knowledge there are only two players in Sweden. Me and diskborstemc. I live 550 km from Malmö and diskborste 700 km or so. Cant speak for him but no for me. Thanks for the heads up though.

Definitely not a Þungur hnífur competition haha... Too bad you can't make it man!

Oh. Tried to push the "tävlingar" button but alas. Sooo curious what the scores will be. Classical arcade machine it says? Since I have the only DK cab in Sweden I'm even more curious.

I could kill for that Icelandic letter you use for "T". Soo cool although in Swedish it looks like Pungur which means ballsack/scrotum.

Yeah... I'm kind of doubtful that it's a original cabinet, I wouldn't assume so at least. I hope someone shows up to do a good score.

pungur means ballsack in Icelandic too btw.
