Depends on the game. Speedrun records on SR.com are way more legit imo.
It cannot be more legit that the current
new TGSAP process at Twingalaxies.
Reason be is that speedrun
only do show a video of the gameplay.
Speedrun.com:A submitted game entry do not show the gamer play the game and if a TAS was used or not, which can very be the case for any speedrun.
Also do not show if original hardware was used as part of the video.
IMO TGSAP do show:
- Gamer playing the game
- Original hardware
- Game been played
Some could be bias towards TG submitted process becuase they did not try it out themselves and are influence by the past....some previous records that were "approved in the 1980s" via word of mouth and a picture but that was also the case of any gaming record keeping not only TG.
