I've never crunched the numbers, but I've always been of the idea that Junior's top score potential was about 150k to 200k more than DK. Seeing what Mr. Tudose has done the past year has me putting him into a class by himself.

I'm a pretty good player, but watching Phil makes me feel like I'm playing minor league ball.

Well I know that 1.6 million is barely possible. Like 1.3 million is for Donkey Kong.
So the difference is more like 300k.
I guess the new techniques have widened the gap.
Still, a 1.255 million equivalent DK score is otherworldly.

My DK score is garbage compared to the really good players. For me, DK is significantly more difficult than Junior. That being said, being the absolute best at any one game, and I mean the best player in the world, that's something. Mr. Tudose took that mantle a year or so ago and not only has he held it, but has stretched it further than most thought it could be stretched.

As for the difference in scoring potential, I've offered my limited knowledge opinion. I'll leave real numbers to guys like you (George) and Mr. Barrow, who have excelled at more than just Junior :) Still, what Phil is doing is ridiculous.

Here?s the numbers I see , and all of it is possible

110k start
77k level ( 20 + 12 + 35 + 10) = 1.386
104 k death points

Luckily Once you master the game, the RNG in Jr mostly only affects how much you can leech , it?s not trying to kill you 12 different ways.
