Donkey Kong Online Open #3 for 2014: ***FINAL*** Results

Eric Tessler and John Salter would like to thank everyone for participating! Here are the prize money winners!!! We had 65 registered players and 32 of those players submitted scores.

PRIZE MONEY WINNERS: For those of you who won prize money, please contact me via the forum or facebook and let me know the best way to pay you your prize money (paypal is preferred).

Yeah didn't i get the last man bounty? I should've! I went from 11-5 to 18-6 on my last man on my best game of 730,200! :-(. I wasn't told I could do more than 1 bounty! :-(. Thats not fair! :-(.

Ignorance of the rules is your own fault. The rules are clearly stated months in advance.

You CAN'T do more than one bounty. You didn't make any mistake in your submission.

The rules say you can only claim one bounty per submitted game. In your submission you claimed the "most improved" bounty, rather than the last man bounty.

I think you actually made the right choice at the time, since your last man was more likely to be beaten than your score improvement, but you just got unlucky with how it turned out.

The way you are playing though, and with so many players now out of the running to win money, I would say you have a pretty good chance of maybe winning something next time. Just gotta keep trying...

I was talking to Eric and he said you could have claimed it towards the end of the event. Either that or not post your score and see what bounties have been claimed and see how your game matches up towards them. It's okay to strategize in these events as it is a competition. I would also like to congratulate Chuck Vess on his 50 dollar bounty for his stellar 2,200 performanceâ€¦ Well deserved buddy

I had loads of in my first Kong tourney ever. It really pushed me to play some of the best Kong in my young Kong "career"

I'm going to start submitting for bounties because this is the 2nd time now I could have had one. Jason you wouldn't have made it anyway because I went from like 7-6 to 15-2 or something like on my last man in one game. I honestly just forgot about the last man bounty and was only thinking there was a first man. My mistake

As always, a thank you to the organizers for another successful tournament.

My insipid performance was the only flaw in an otherwise solid event.

I should have specified a bounty with my submission. It might have given Eric and John a few hearty laughs.

Had a monumental amount of fun, a big thanks to Eric & John for organising and JC for hosting.
Overall it was a great tournament, even with a little drama on the side which is always good for a laugh
