Streaming 24 hour Tapper Marathon 5/29 ~12pm Est

Hi, I just joined the forum to let everyone know that I'm going to be playing and streaming Tapper for 24 hours tomorrow (5/29) around noon eastern.
I will be playing on wolfmame, since I do not have a dedicated machine.
The current dedicated marathon record is 9mil (kelly tharp) Mame record is my own 10 mil (which took me roughly 15 hours if I had to guess)
I already have a 10 mil score and a 1.3 mil 1-man score on marp. (So the toughest part should be staying awake and eating)

Awesome I know Colman Polao? (Sorry dont remember how to spell it) Got a 10 million score on Tapper was well IIRC. MAybe it was 5 million but he played it a longggggg time. Great stuff !!!! :D

Yeah I thought that Colman Paolo had the record for Tapper didn't he?  I was pretty sure he did!  At least I thought he did!

Colman's great. He keeps pushing my scores up. I had a 6 man score that he beat with 5 which lead to my 1 man pr.
He's also the reason why I'm going to stream it because we both got 10 mil, but only the one done live ever got confirmed. (Just too much to watch I guess)

So to summarize:
Day 1 had technical difficulties. I had to use frameskip to avoid a lag and even then I wasn't doing very well.
Day 2 I used a different version of wolfmame to reduce the lag and I got a game over at 6 mil (I was drinking whenever I died to pass the time and also intentionally dying in the space bar to get more points in less time.)
Day 3 I remapped the keys and got 1.6mil on my first life. Played it out to 14mil after 23 hrs and 7 min.

So I was streaming some timber last weekend and gave up after looping 256 stages and getting just over 5 mil (Roughly 6 hrs).

I'm going to stream it again with the goal of reaching 10 mil Saturday 6/14 ~12pm Est if anyone's interested.

I won't have to play as long as tapper, but timber doesn't give you much for breaks. (The closest thing to a break is the first stage after looping since there isn't a bear on it and it takes 20 sec.)

Wow, pretty cool to see another person master this game.  Timber is probably on my list of leading contenders of arcade to marathon one day.   Best of luck to you. :)
