**First off, I just want to say I am not the one putting up the money, but I would like to propose a change that could be fun and add a twist to the competition. This is only a suggestion, ultimately it is not my decision.**
(since there is no first KS bounty for this WCR, perhaps this could be adopted in the future if there is a 1st KS bounty)
I have an idea, that I think would be a cool twist and could definetely spice up the bounty some.
I propose that: first KS bounty should go to the first player to achieve a KS during the WCR, unless a first time KS has been achieved. In this case the bounty would be passed on to the first time KSer and not the player that got the first WCR KS.
(If 2 first time KSs are achieved the bounty goes to KS with highest score)
Example: If Dean wins the first KS bounty within the first 2 hours, and another player achieves their first ever KS in the last 5 minutes of the tournament. The first time KSer would win the bounty.
This change would actually still create incentive for 1m+ players to run boards at the beginning of the tournament due to the small possibility of a first time KS coming within the 48 hour window. I dont believe there has ever been a first time KS during a WCR.
I just truly feel that it would be cooler to give it to a first time KSer that broke their PB by 200k than a 1m+ player who dropped down to run boards.
So, in essence this bounty rewards a first time KSer over someone that has already been there and done that, yet it still preserves the "everbody run boards til first KS" effect due to the small possibility that a first time KS would be achieved. I think it would also create a cool element where a good player would be sweating a non KS player snaking his bounty at the last minute.
This is just a suggestion please feel free to post your thoughts. I only intended this to add some fun and excitement to the bounty.
