Donkey kong problem?
« on: May 14, 2013, 02:49:16 pm »
Ok I was playing a point press donkey kong game and noticed on level 1-2 that at 20k right about 1000 points left on the ticker that my arcade made the sound when donkey kong climbs the ladder after you complete a board. I'm hoping this was a glitch and not my soundboard messing up or worse. Btw it let me finish the board and keep going but just though that that was weird that it did this in the middle of a game. Anyone had this problem before?

Thanks. I've read that before but didn't get what they were talking about until now. Lol. If I was recording this for a world record I wonder what would happen such as disqualification.

I've had this happening to me before as well.  The first time I freaked out especially since it was during my first WR game.  I have it on tape... Been meaning to post it on the X-files thread.  It's happened to me 2 or 3 times in total.  Apparently a known hardware bug.

Awesome hank. Good to know that it was still submitable. Surprised nobody cried foul over it. The way they scrutinize ever little thing not that it's bad but good they understand that things happen. I have the same board as you I think you had the tkg-14 or something like that right?

I'm pretty sure Dave or Mark posted it in the x-files thread.

I'm with you guys, this has only happened twice to me but the first time I thought something was wrong with my machine.  You can't just go to Walmart and buy spare DK parts...
