About me: I am a web developer and a gaming enthusiast. I played as a professional gamer for a few years. Getting older sucks. My reaction time cannot compete with the younger generation. My roots go back to atari, nintendo and gameboy. That is what brought my passion out. When I was four my dad and i mapped out the legend of zelda and beat it; a memory i will cherish forever. Now I have a lot to learn about DK but what I don't have in knowledge, I make up for in obsession. I will be streaming practice if anyone wants to drop by. I will start this weekend.

Good luck. You're in the right place to learn about the game. I'll like your twitch channel and check it out.

Thank you for the kind words. Fortunately I have the ability to brute force an outcome by never giving up. Took me 80 hours to solo Aksis but I did it. I am going to point at the wall or top 10, babe ruth style. It may seem conceited and bold, however I can assure you it is confidence. I've been reading through all the forum posts, soaking up every byte of information. I'm excited to be a part of the community and again thank you for the warm welcome.

I think you're going to need more than 80 hours for this.

Good luck!

Thanks Gary! I have a big problem with going for points due to my aggressive playstyle. I hope to tone that down and hit the killscreen. Trying to convince myself not to be aggressive is tough.

Just to let you know, it's going to probably be at least 1000 hours of practice time to make the top 10.

I know. When I said 80 hours ... that was on one encounter. I had well over 3500 total play hours in D1
