Will DK scores the upcoming NES mini classic be acceptable?

With the upcoming release of the NES mini classic, I wanted to get some input from the community from a DK standpoint. Will scores on this system be acceptable? Thoughts? opinions?

It uses the NES version of the game, so unfortunately that would not be acceptable on the main scoreboard. The NES version is a far easier version of the game with fewer random elements.

By the way, it'll be awhile before Nintendo releases anything MAME related in regards to their arcade games unfortunately.
