Thank you Jeff, for organizing the tournament.  I watched as much of the action as I could.

I may actually compete during a future event.  Of course, I'll have to set up my Twitch TV channel first.   ::)

Congrats, Jon!

I'm actually quite embarrassed (and pissed) by my final game, but I guess that risk comes with playing the game. Donkey Kong is in the business of embarrassing/frustrating people. In the end, it's probably just because I am so hard on my myself. Whatever, I'll get over it.

Jon definitely deserved this title after the last man he had after a quick first 3 deaths in his finals game. My game just now helps me put that in perspective. Thanks to Jeff for organizing this and thanks to everyone for participating. I'm sure this was just the tip of the iceberg! Viva la Kong!

yeah i know how you feel Mitch, could easily have been me in that position...the format is ruthless for one bad game, but i like the dynamic that added...

I think everyone enjoyed playing and watching the tournament last year and several members have expressed interest in doing it again.

Would you be willing to set things up again this year? or, would you like some help setting things up this year?

It's in the works guys. I'll post details after the open. As of now it will start mid April and have a few changes from last year. Maybe Jeff and Chris can set up a sign-up link after the open. For now someone come up with a name. No-hammer April annoyance tournament  8)
